We aim to provide a stimulating and fun environment where quality teaching and learning takes place every day – we put our children at the heart of everything we do. We have a beautiful outside space which includes a field and garden area where we grow our own vegetables. We also run Forest School sessions weekly for the children.
Our pupils are proud of their school and this is reflected in their high standards of work, behaviour and attainment. We are a small hardworking and dedicated team at Hickling School, committed to ensuring our school continues to strive for excellence. We are very proud to be a vital part of our local communi
We have two classes

Year one/Year two
'Hickling infant has so many strengths, I am so pleased my child is able to experience the benefits of a small rural school. They provide great enrichment such as in-house experiences (lambs, tadpoles, sports sessions) and days out linked to their learning.'
What Ofsted (date) says about us:
‘There is a harmonious atmosphere in the school…pupils display an infectious enthusiasm for their learning.’
'The school is a central part of the village community. Pupils take part in events such as the local food fayre, pancake day and visits to a residential home.’
