Caterpillars and Butterflies Class loved investigating the pumpkins Miss Grimmer brought in from her garden. First they used scoops and spoons to remove the pulp and seeds. They soon added water to make their own 'pumpkin soup' and we gradually introduced other tools too, such as knives for chopping and graters for grating!
