As part of this term's 'Come Outside' topic, the children have been able to experience watching ducklings hatch from eggs.
Year 5 children from Catfield came to spend the day with our class!
As part of our 'Amazing Animals' topic, we have created a vets role-play area to help us think about caring for pets.
What a way to start our new topic learning all about amazing animals!
Our Caterpillars and Butterflies had a fantastic time on their cricket engagement morning!
All of the children participated with confidence and enjoyment. They were amazed with the new skills they had learnt. "I could bat the ball really far!"
This week Caterpillars and Butterflies have been practising their segmenting skills by playing feed the frogs. They were able to listen carefully to hear the sounds in the words and feed them to the correct frog! Ribbit ribbit!
We've had a fantastic week learning about Chinese New Year with Miss Griew.

It's the start of a new term in Caterpillars and Butterflies. The children were excited to find a ticket office and a train in our outdoor area on the first day back.
We had a wonderful time when we invited our families into school for Christmas craft morning.
